The most expensive car in the world at an exhibition in California

Every year in the resort town of Monterey held an unusual auto show, where wealthy motorists can buy himself a new "toy" for a couple of million dollars, and the mere mortals - to look at the exotic cars of all time.

From major auto show in Paris or Geneva, the local festival of different levels through the roof of glamor. There is no "ordinary" cars and futuristic concept, there is no closer to the crowd of onlookers pavilions, only luxury cars that stand in the park on the lawn neatly trimmed.

In a separate building are traded, where once again resold curiosities of the last century. Starting prices range from one hundred thousand to a million dollars, and the third fall of the hammer grow several times. The most expensive lot was a racing Ferrari in 1957, which has sold over 16.4 million.

A couple of days alone, the auction house RM Auctions sold the car for $ 80 million.
