2012 Opel Astra ecoFLEX Tourer: The miser-Van is on the way
In early 2012, the new Opel Zafira Tourer comes to the dealers. Shortly thereafter, the trimmed particularly on environmental compatibility, called ecoFLEX variant will appear. The car is powered by a two-liter diesel engine that develops 130 hp. The CO2 emissions of 119 grams per kilometer, the average consumption is 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers.
A whole range of measures is responsible for the low values. To improve the aerodynamics of the body by ten millimeters lowered and an active air control system - a so-called "Aero Hutter" - integrated into the grill. While at low speeds or higher thermal loads in favor of the right engine temperature "pulling" prevails, the blades close automatically at higher speeds and manage the airflow around the car. The vehicle is more streamlining, consumes less and emits less CO2. Furthermore, the carriage moves on low rolling resistance tires in size 225/50 R17. A gear shift indicator and a start-stop system also ensure economical progress.
