Peugeot 208 2012 - Declassified successor Peugeot 207

The Dutch edition of AutoWeek published the first official pictures of the three-and five-door hatchback Peugeot 208, which are the successors to the family car 207. As previously reported, the debut of new products will be held in France on the night of 2 to 3 November this year.

Cars line 208 built on the same front-drive platform, which is used for hatchbacks Citroen C3 and DS3, but Peugeot will use different suspension settings and steering. Compared with the 207-mi news decreased overall length of seven inches, and the machines themselves are lighter by an average of 110 kilograms.

Peugeot 208 hatchback will be offered with five diesel and two petrol engines. Among the last of them - three-cylinder units in volume of 1.0 and 1.2 liter capacity which is expected to be 75 and 100 horsepower. The most powerful engine will consume per hundred kilometers around 4.3 liters of fuel, and its CO2 emissions will be 99 grams per kilometer.
