Volvo has announced plans to stop the mass production of the C70 in 2013 and to close the factory in Uddevalla (Sweden).
"The plant in Uddevalla produces very high quality products, but the automaker is comparable to a Volvo can not, from a financial point of view, contain a plant producing only one model" - says CEO Stefan Jacoby.
In this regard, all employees of the plant (600 employees) will be offered jobs at other plants Volvo.
